Vankhandeshwar Vidyapeeth was established in 1992 by an Eminent Educationist Prof. Dr. Ram Singh Tomar,Vishva-Bharati Santiniketan(W.B) to provide quality education to the children of rural peasants who could hardly dream of sending their children to a public school.The school is affiliated to C.B.S.E Delhi up to Sr. Secondary classes. The school is situated in lush green environment in the ravines of kwari river – a tributory of Chambal river.
The school has good infrastructure including a building premises of 20 rooms , high standard laboratories for Physics , Chemistry , Biology & Computers. It also includes a library having more than 6000 books and research books of different fields. Our school building also includes 3 guest rooms .The school has 9 hostel blocks and a dinning room having capacity of 300 students at one time. It also includes 10 bed hospital. The school has electrical conection and in order to suppliment electric power the school has generator.There is a overhead water tank having capacity of 40000 litres for proper water supply.
We also provide one hour yoga education and P.T in morning. And from this year onwards we have a facility of NCC Camp. Quality education is our first motive for that we have trained and experienced teachers in the field of Mathematics , Science , Social Science , Arts , Music , Computers , English , Hindi and Sanskrit. For the students, we also conduct time to time extra-curricular activities for their all round development
The School provides cheap and quality education to the children of socially and economically weaker sections ie scheduled caste schedule tribe and other backward classes.
In the rural area, there is very low strength of girl students. The school is encouraging girl students at minimum school fee.
School also encourage differently abled students to take admission in the school.
The School has sufficient separate toilets for girls and boys.
The school emphasizes science based learning through practical activities such as soap making , toothpaste preparation etc from class VI to XII. Other science based practical are also demonstrated to the students of lower classes which are useful to them in day to day life.
